KATE BYARS

Founder & Chief Well-Being Officer, The Goodlife Institute

Kate was a corporate marketer and international businesswoman who became the youngest executive of a Fortune 500 company before she walked away to go live on an island. Instead of embracing the simple life, she soon found herself scheming how to increase profit margins and improve customer service in the local community.

It was then she realized that the real problem was how she was conditioned to work – and how all of us were taught to succeed – is bullshit. The traditional model leads to burnout, disillusionment, guilt, and boredom.

Kate returned to the States and along with her husband, began a deep journey to understand success through the lens of evolutionary human behavior. Using this framework, they developed a new blueprint for success; one that lacks the trade-offs between lifestyle, fulfillment, and freedom.

Her company, The Goodlife Institute, is presently positioned as a well-being coaching company and she and her team have taught over 1,000 female executives and successful businesswomen how to thrive at the top without stepping down from their careers. The Goodlife Institute also teaches successful men and women how to enjoy deep harmony in their relationships, learn friction-free parenting, and become influential and authentic leaders.
