The Founders You’ll Call at 2am

Since 2014, a private community of founders who’d rather farm than hunt, and who actually like each other.

Good People. Good Intentions. Good Times.

We're purposefully boutique. Curation and trust are the job, and we don't take it lightly.

Good People

Manufactured serendipity

Most groups sell you a curriculum and let the crowd fill in around it. We flipped it. The job’s hard enough, you shouldn’t be doing it alone, waiting for serendipity to strike over a chafing dish between sessions or in a loud Slack channel.

When something’s on fire, you don’t want a seminar, you want the peers who’ve already put out the same fire, one call away. The people are the product.

The Formula - Good Intentions

Good Intentions

No pitching

Short-sighted transactional intentions ruin a community. No pitching has been in the DNA from the start, and not just from speakers, from us or other members either. Everyone comes through a two-way call, and as Kurt Vonnegut said, “damn it, you’ve got to be kind.”

We look for people playing the long game, the ones who give before they take. That’s where the real value hides, the trust that opens up a member’s whole network to you, because nobody’s working an angle.

The Formula - Good Times

Good Times

Real in a world of fake

Business and life are hard enough, you need a good time on the long ride. Don’t throw the proverbial baby out with the bathwater while chasing success. We curate for people who do serious work without taking themselves too seriously, the kind who can laugh about the weight of it all over a drink.

Online, everyone’s fake. Real-life present moments are the fuel, and we know how to get busy people to show up and play full out, leave with something useful, and a damn good time worth coming back for.

That's our half. Here's what you do with it.

The Formula - Choose Your Own Adventure

Choose Your Own Adventure

Most groups run like school, and you’ve come too far for that. School didn’t suit you the first time anyway. We built the opposite, go live or virtual, show up or sleep in, your call.

The Formula - It Compounds

It Compounds, Like Fitness and Finance

No magic tricks. It works like the gym or compound interest, slow at first, then you can’t imagine doing it without these people, the ones who back you, push you, and have a damn good time alongside you.

Membership Is Access

There’s no upsells or add to a cart. If approved, access to all, the community, the resources, the events.

Our m hiring playbook. Take it.Term sheet we just negotiated. Here's the redline. The vendor list that saved us 18 months. How we 3x'd retention without spending more.

A private community, members only, every one of them vetted. Post a question at 9pm on a Friday, a CFO recommendation, a gut-check on a deal, someone to tell you your pricing is broken, and wake up to honest answers from founders who’ve already been there.

Underneath it, a searchable archive of years of conversations, recordings, and resources. The good stuff doesn’t expire when the thread scrolls past.

You tell us what you’re working on and who’d be worth knowing. We hand-pick the match, on the work and the personality, then make the introduction ourselves.

No algorithm, no directory to dig through, no cold outreach. Just the right two people, introduced on purpose.

Members will tell you a single Baby Date turned into a hire, a partnership, or the conversation that changed how they run the place. We won’t promise which one you’ll get. We’ll just make the introduction count.

Small, facilitated group calls with members at your stage. You take the hot seat with whatever’s keeping you up, and the group digs in.

The kind of perspective you can’t get from your team, your spouse, or your current circle, from people staring down the same size of problem you are.

Online, the calendar stays full, member deep dives, group calls, and virtual sessions you can drop into from wherever you are.

In person is where it lands. Members get 50% off every Flagship, Mastermind, and Adventure we run, the destination events at the center of the community. The Heli-Trip runs on its own pricing.

If you want time with these people somewhere better than a Zoom window, this is where you get it.

Vendor recommendations that panned out, compensation benchmarks, templates, and playbooks, all built by members for their own companies and handed over without the markup.

The stuff that normally only comes out in a private conversation between people who trust each other. Plus a growing library of member courses, the kind other people charge real money for.

Yours any time, no appointment required.

Just the online group alone is worth the investment. The help I received knew their stuff and walked me straight through it, with no intention of pitching me on their services. The support literally helped me make $20 million dollars. So I’d say that’s a pretty good return on my investment.

We always run up against unknowns and grey areas, and having a community like this, full of folks genuinely interested in what I’m doing, lets me speak frankly about what I’m fearful of or what my challenges are. I’ve got folks to call and a support system that’s been invaluable for scaling our business. These folks have gone through it before. They’ve made the mistakes so I don’t have to.

The Baby Bathwater members group is by far the most valuable mastermind I am a part of. There’s no BS, no kumbaya pep talks, none of the standoffish fluff you see in most other inner circles. What you get is cutting truth from people who know as much or more than you do and are willing to lend you their genius.

Who We’re Looking For

We vet every application against three criteria. Not everyone gets in, that’s the point.

Professional

Runs a legitimate, operating business with a track record of execution. Not a side project. Not a pitch deck.

Personality

Low ego, generous, doesn't take themselves too seriously.

Participation

Helps before asking, brings energy, in for the long run.

Minimum Business Requirements

$1M+

in revenue

$500K

in profit

$3M+

raised

These are guidelines, not a checklist. We look at three things: a professional business, the right personality, and active participation.

Revenue gets you in the conversation. Character gets you in the room.

Becoming a Member

We review every application personally. Here’s the process.

01

Apply

5-minute application. Tell us about you, your business, and what you're looking for.

02

Review

We review your application and run our process.

03

The Two-Way Call

A genuine conversation with our team, not a pitch, just making sure it's a fit both ways.

04

Invitation to Membership

If both sides agree it's a fit, you register and get full access, starting with a personal onboarding call and resources hand-picked for you based on what comes out of it.

No rolling admissions, no waitlists. When you’re in, you’re in. We say no a lot, and it’s not personal. No community is right for everyone, and we’re no exception. But when it’s a fit, you’ll feel it on the call, and so will we.

Start Your Application

But what if…

questions asking

That’s exactly why this works. We do the matching, the introductions, and the logistics.

You don’t have to work a room, manage a schedule, or figure out who to talk to. Most members spend a few minutes a day in The Tub and attend events when it fits their calendar.

The structure bends to your schedule, not the other way around.

Good. Most of our members do.

The question is whether it’s vetted, whether it’s pitch-free, and whether you can ask about your CFO’s salary or whether to fire your co-founder without it getting weird.

Many accomplished founders have plenty of contacts but very few peers who understand what they’re navigating. That’s the gap membership fills.

If the fee would stretch you thin, this probably isn’t your stage yet, and that’s a straight answer, not a soft no. We’re not interested in talking a founder into spending money they don’t have.

Membership should fit where your business is. If you’re close and not sure, that’s exactly what the call is for.

Some members had the same reservation. Then they posted their first question and got honest, specific answers from people who’d been through it. That’s usually when it clicks.

The community is active because the people in it are generous with their time and experience. You don’t have to force it, it happens because the room is worth showing up for.

We’d rather have the right people than the most people, which is exactly why the two-way call matters. Both sides decide before anyone commits, because the commitment is real, a full year. That’s what the vetting is for. We’d rather lose you at the application than have you join something that isn’t right, so by the time you’re in, both of us already know it’s a fit.

Questions We get often:

Our membership spans dozens of industries, with the largest concentrations in health, wellness, brand owners and CPG, digital marketing, agencies, and B2B consulting. You’ll also find founders in e-commerce, SaaS, finance, food and beverage, professional services, and more. What ties everyone together isn’t industry. It’s stage, ambition, and the way they treat people.

Membership is a one-year commitment to start, whether you pay annually or monthly. After that first year, it moves to month-to-month, cancel any time with 45 days’ notice. No multi-year contracts, no fine-print games, you’ll know the terms cold before you sign.

Events are a big part of the experience, but membership is built to be valuable year-round even if you can’t attend every one. The Tub, Baby Dates, Hot Seats, and the resource library are all available regardless of whether you make it to a Flagship or Adventure. That said, events are where relationships deepen fastest. Most members make at least one or two a year.

$12,500 a year, or $1,250 a month if you’d rather spread it out. That’s the whole number. No tiers, no à la carte add-ons, no surprise fees once you’re in. Everything in this section is included, plus member pricing on every event we run.

On any given day, you’ll see questions about hiring decisions, vendor recommendations, deal structures, pricing strategy, operational challenges, and the occasional “has anyone dealt with this?” that sparks a thread with dozens of responses. The activity is consistent because the members are invested in helping each other. It’s not a ghost town with a post every two weeks.

And that’s just what’s visible. The DMs, the local meetups, and the one-on-one calls run at an even higher clip off the main feed.

Yes. Current members can nominate people they think would be a good fit, and a nomination carries weight in the review because our members understand the culture better than anyone. But nominations aren’t required. You can apply directly, and every application gets the same thorough review.
